After Baahubali, Kiccha Sudeep to act in another Telugu historic movie

We know that Kiccha Sudeep is going to play a marshal in Eddie Arya’s sci-fi thriller Risen, which is going on floors shortly, by doing this Sudeep will become the first-ever Kannada actor to be cast in a Hollywood film. It is a proud moment not only for the Kannada film industry, but for the whole of Karnataka as well.
We are sure the audiences can't wait to see Sudeep in this endeavor but before we get to that there's some more to good news to rejoice; Sudeep has been roped in to play a parallel lead in the yet-to-be-named Telugu historical magnum opus film that also features superstars Chiranjeevi and Amitabh Bachchan. The biopic is said to be based on the life of one of the first freedom fighters. Incidentally, the story emerged after PM Narendra Modi released a stamp featuring the veteran freedom fighter as a tribute to his unrecognized contribution towards India’s freedom struggle. The movie will be directed by Surender Reddy who has directed movies like Race Gurram, Kick. The music will be composed by AR Rahman and cinematography by Ravi Varman. The movie is scheduled to go on floors this October.
