"A beautiful journey of aspirations and dreams on a bicycle" - Jeerjimbe Movie Review
It is raining good movies in Sandalwood this year, and the new addition to the list is ‘Jeerjimbe’. The yet to be released movie recently received the Karnataka State Award. The team held a special screening for the celebrities. The celebrities who watched the movie were thrilled by the performances and the way the movie has come out.
Jeerjimbe narrates the story of a village girl and her dreams. The movie opens with the government granting free bicycles to 8th standard girls. What follows next is the tale of jealousy, student politics and how with the right mix of childhood innocence and natural humour. The movie is gripping and delivers important messages including the social issue of child marriage and every kid has the right to dream.
The director Karthik Saragur must be applauded here. This movie takes you through different emotions, pain, struggle and happiness. All the characters were just mesmerizing. The background score and the beautiful songs were really heartwarming and music director Charan Raj should be lauded for his work. Pushkara Mallikarjunaiah deserves special appreciation for backing this effort.
